The new Ubuntu 9.04 is delevering awesome performance. The introduction of new evolutionary EXT4 Linux filesystem makes the boot time faster and more stable comparing to EXT3 and it can handle files with sizes of up to 16 terabytes.
This new EXT4 is implemented in Ubuntu 9.04 Alpha 3 wihch release a couple of days ago. (read more....)
